First, I apologize to everyone for my inaction, for the rudeness of expectation in the answers to your kind support and also for to accumulating more than 700 that I would soon comment and support .

In fact, as some already know, I'm spending my free time watching Anime, and probably I'm becoming a huge Otaku . But now there isn't only this in my life: family, affection, dinners with friends, photography, sports and reading.

So...I would be able to read all the novels of Jane Austen, one of my favorite writers (well yes, I am an incurable romantic) and I decided to share with you my passion, a bit as in
"Club of Jane Austen" .

Some DeviantArtists, fans of romantic novels like me, have designed the characters, or pairs of the most famous books of Austen, and I would like to show here.

Pride & Prejudice

This is one of the most beloved books by Jane Austen. The main characters are Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. She, the second of five daughters, of one family is not very rich and of social position not too high, has the misfortune of a mother who only thinks to marry their daughters, and a father who despite being a gentleman does not take care to curb the excesses of his wife. Him rich and respectable gentleman, attentive to what are good manners and the qualities that a woman of her level should have. Beginning to occur in living rooms: Elizabeth trial a immediately dislike for her arrogant ways and Mr Darcy snub she. Over time, however, the feelings of him in front of the bright eyes of her begins to change ...

Persuasion

The daughter of a baronet, Anne falls in love when he was young and it is reciprocated. Her family is opposed, and she is persuaded to leave the loved. Emma

With the death of her mother when he was a child and the elder sister married early, Emma becomes the young lady of the house. Grows with the presence nearby of a father that loves so as not to see the flaws, and a housekeeper which lacks the steady hand. She is intelligent, good manners, respectable, but his favorite pastime is to combine marriage. Soothed by the success achieved by the marriage of her housekeeper, attempts to combine that of her friend, Miss Smith. Northanger Abbey

Catherine is young and lively. The country's life, bored she. When she presents the opportunity, be happy to spend some time in active Bath. Here meets Henry, a very gentle boy. Thanks to the friendship of her sister about him and above all thanks to a misunderstanding with father that makes them believe that she is rich, Catherine was invited to their house: the Northanger Abbey. For she, a great reader of novels of fear set in the Gothic style in the abbeys, is a great joy, but when he arrives, she lets herself be influence by those stories, taking a course a little strange. ArtofMusic sayd: has shown not only inside the deviation but also in the artist's comment that she has understood and taken the theme under deep consideration. She has also with meaning gone against the normal way pof a geisha with a white face to add a contrast that shows creativity and such skills. She also describes the background as a representation for the geishas many skills. She still managed to get all the elements and the associeted things as hanami inside the deviation in a spelendid way!

AutumnRaindrop sayd: ...when I've read the journal I liked the deviation even more, because the colours are awesome and I think it gives a nice touch that they represent the abilities and talents of a geisha. Oh and I love the dress.

ChrisDayo sayd: This lovely painting is calming as well. The artist also chose colors that harmonized with each other. I see this and can't help but smile or feel happy inside. I'm really liking the dream like state she's in. What I really love about this pic is how the tree on the fan branches off and it's leaves are blowing off. I mean how amazing is that. It kinda takes a baby step into a surreal world. Such a dreamy feeling about this.

LuceSilenziosa sayd: I love the use of colors. It creates an dreamy atmosphere. I appreciate a lot all the details of this image, most of all the range and the dress. Compliments.

MargotYvy sayd: Virtually adorable, with that mixture of surreal which is located on the fan, with cherry branches that arise from that, that makes this Geisha fascinating and mysterious, with all her qualities and her delicacy, even of spirit. The colors and the use of particular tract, give this piece an air traditional and fresh.

which received 4 votes.

ChrisDayo sayd: they took a different approach of displaying a geisha. Technique wise this is amazing and they were very neat and clean with the final result. I love the pattern they chose and how it travels to the left engulfing the geisha as well. It's very calming to the eye and makes me feel at peace. Overall it's just very eye pleasing.

Cosmopavone sayd: wonderful achievement, beautiful is the technique that the choice of colors, very elegant and essential.

LuceSilenziosa sayd: In this deviation, I really really love the decorations of the kimono. They are so accurate and realistic. Great use of space and colors. Well done.

MargotYvy sayd: The refined interpretation and the particularities of the Kimono patterns, shall ensure that this Geisha is really full of charm and elegance. It's really beautiful the timing in which she seem to be "with herself" in a fanciful garden where only she can invite to join, to enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossom in his company.

The Contest was inspired at this time of year and the famous Novel by Arthur Golden, Memoirs of a Geisha, from which it was derived the film of the same name. I wish the participants to seize the essence of Geisha and Hanami ("flower viewing", is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms or ume blossoms), celebrating as the "femininity" of this event so important in Japanese culture and the one depicted in the "Wives of Dusk".
